Border Control - A new project begins

Hey folks, I'm Libero, one of the programmers at JamBellGames and "director" of this new project called BORDER CONTROL.
If you are not familiar with the work we do at JamBellGames you need to know that we are primarily a game jam group.
We partecipated in many Godot Wild Jams and some others like Big Mode, SafeInOurWorld and GlobalGameJam.
We've also been working on releasing one of our jam games for free on Steam, Ignis Dei.
Hopefully that will be up soon and I'll post about it later on.
So what is BORDER CONTROL?
This is going to be our very first non-jam project, the plan is to release this game on Itch and Steam (and possibly other platforms) and it's going to be BIG, like a proper full-length indie game that you can play and replay and hopefully tell your friends about.
Who's involved?
I'll take care of designing, programming, 3D modeling and engine implementations.
We have Andrea doing audio and Antea doing Art.
More people will likely be joining us later.
What's the plan?
It's too early to say anything but the first step is to release a demo, for free here on Itch, and see how that goes.
We'll collect feedback and see if the idea works, then make plans accordingly.
Ok, but what is this game about?
Let me put this into bullet points so it's a easier to explain the core elements:
- The hook - Your country is in need of someone that is not scared of making hard decisions. Someone who can serve and protect. Someone that doesn't have a problem with being alone in isolation for days.
- The job - You have a job to do, tasks to perform, ID's to check, vehicles to inspect (yes there is some Papers Please inspiration) but don't worry about getting bored, your routine will be soon interrupted by ....
- Survival horror - You will have to survive and you will be terrified trying. Low ammo, low health , high stakes, the works.
- Looking retro - Low resolution and dithering. You can count the pixels on the textures. It has lots of nostaglia for the psx era.
No more reading now, here are some 3D models that I made:

A quick look at the environment:

And here are some basic mechanics I've been working on:
- Vehicle driving in
- Checking ID
- Reporting
- Inventory
- Picking up, equipping and using consumables
